Our mission is to transform Trent Hills into a fun, safe, and healthy place to ride a bike.

Recreation. Transportation.
Transformation.

Advocacy

Bike Action is a leader in the drive to make our communities safer, healthier, and more climate-friendly. By engaging with the Municipality of Trent Hills, Northumberland County, and other local stakeholders, our goal is to help develop a fully-connected and well-maintained Active Transportation Network made up of trails, bike paths, and bike lanes. To make cycling a realistic option for Trent Hills residents, we need to make getting from A to B by bike simple, safe, and straightforward.

Road Readiness

Thanks to funding from the Campbellford Seymour Community Foundation (CSCF) and a partnership with the Trent Hills Public Library, our DIY bike maintenance kits are available for free to everyone with a library card.

Each Road Readiness Kit includes a work stand, a pump, a patch kit, and a basic set of tools. You can use the kit right there on the library premises, or take it home and work on your bike throughout the one-week loan period.

Building Community

With the support of the Campbellford Rotary Club and the CSCF, we run bike maintenance workshops, cycling safety sessions, and group rides. We are committed to learning more from Trent Hills residents about how we can make cycling a fun, healthy and safe part of daily life for people of all stripes. Community bike events give us the opportunity to connect and learn from the people who live and ride here.
