Now that kids are back in school, many little and not-so-little ones are riding their bikes back and forth every day. This is a great time to teach those kids how to check their own bikes before they ride to make sure that they are road (or sidewalk) ready!

Many aspects of bike maintenance can be done by kids themselves with just a little adult supervision for the youngest riders out there. Knowing how to spot a problem before they ride can prevent accidents, as well as damage to their bikes.

Bike Action team members will be on-site with our Road Readiness Kits to show you and your kids how to check your bikes before you ride and deal with minor issues that need addressing.

All kids who attend will receive a free bike decorating kit for our upcoming Halloween ride!
