Announcing a group mountain bike ride coming up next week! This ride is for individuals who have some mountain biking experience. Advanced beginners are welcome, but this is not a ride for first-time mountain bikers. It will be led by our newest Ride Guide, Dean Harkema.

Location: Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area

Ride date: Tues., June 14th, 2022

Meeting time: 5:30 p.m. Ride begins at 5:50 sharp

Meeting place: Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area parking lot

Distance: 10-12 km, 200+m elevation gain

Duration: 1.5-2 hrs

Type: advanced beginner/intermediate/advanced mountain biking

Weather: in the event of light rain, ride will go on as planned

Description:

Very stiff hill climbs and rugged trail

Notes:

Helmets are required to participate. Please make sure your bike is in good working order.

Wear long pants with bug spray.
Ride single file on roads when there is traffic.

Do not pass other cyclists on the right. Shoulder check when passing; be sure to give warning (bell or voice) when passing.
Be kind and courteous.
